Total blood volume = Plasma vol * 100/ 100-hematocrit.
Plasma vol can be measured using dyes- Evan's blue (T- 1824) 3500ml. Hematocrit is the ratio of ccells to plasma in our body- arounr 38 to 40%. Therefore, blood vol. comes to 5.6 l.
