Lol. I posted a question like this a long time ago using Anubis instead of Vishnu...the Christians had it deleted for "Chatting and Personal Commutation". They don't understand that Pascal's wager can be used on any religion, not just there's. And if one was to take the wager seriously, one would have to become a polytheist.

Well, if Vishnu was the God of Heaven and earth and the almighty creator then he would just have a different name then wouldn't he. Other than that I have never aknowledged any other God so I don't know what would happen.

Hi,
Well, that a toughy! Your presuming that is has to be a right or wrong religion. Surely all religions are merely guides to help us on our journey. Most of the major religions say pretty much the same thing. If God or the universe was as small minded as to say that although i lived a good life but believed that Jesus was not the son of god and deserved to be punished for it. Well, then I'd have to say Bring it on!!!!!!

Unfortunately, no one will find out they're wrong when they die. In order to find out you're wrong, you must be right in at least believing that there is life after death. There isn't.

I almost wish there was life after death, just so I could see the look on the faces of all the Christians when they find out their entire life has been a lie. But that will never happen. When you die, all brain function ceases. Without a fresh supply of blood and oxygen, your cells will begin to die. The bacteria that live in your stomach will begin eating you. And that's pretty much all there is.

Old PHL major myself. Haven't heard of the wager in a while. I have a sneaking suspicion that when we go, that's it, were gone. Plus remember Kant's categorical imperative... Half assing a minimal commitment with minimal donations and attending church isn't doing the right thing for the right reason anyway.

HAHA I'm Hindu man. By the way, Hindu's have no hell, Vishnu would welcome you although it would probably be Indra. I favor Ganesh myself. Hinduism is a major part of my life, not religously, but culturally. We have a great heritage as Indians.

I wouldn't feel too badly, I mean trying to live a good life has no drawbacks for me at the moment. So if he welcomes me, then I'll shake his hand and say I was wrong.
