My BF told me this and it makes sense: Rude, nasty people are unable to cope with their life and react by taking it out on other people. Be happy that you are much better able to cope with things and don't have to sink to their level.

Maybe the fact there are so many single parent families, parents both working, and not teaching their children how not to be rude... The fact is parents don't have the time and pass it off, you will see more and mroe of this in the future I assure you...I see for instance SO many young people littering or dis-respecting others property without facing any consequences from their parents..

Society penalizes the nice and rewards the "badass, thug, gangsta" rude people. The rude people become CEOs, Presidents, and Gang Leaders. The nice people commit suicide or become priests. You can either be a dick and successful or a nice person and end up lonely, poor, and stigmatised. Thank you, God of Competition. You have brought us back to tribalism.

Rude people basically are unhappy people. Always.
We all know that unhappy people like it whenever everyone else unhappy. There is kind of bitterness in people when they see someone is happy and content. It really 'hurts' their eyes everytime unhappy people view or spot someone is in happiness. Because misery loves company.

Too many people think the world revolves around them I guess and people are too busy to be bothered by being decent towards their fellow human beings.

People arnt raising their kids right anymore. They dont have any morals. Most ppl work and the kids are left home alone, therefore, they grow up with no guidance, and they end up being jerks, when theyre adults.

They are rude because that's the only way they could express themselves. They want to be noticed and we give them the satisfaction by reacting to them.
