what can I do if Circuit City is not acknowledging that they received my rebate form?
I have copies of what I mailed, but I've heard from other people that they are sleazeballs, but what are my options?

it's been 6 weeks,
the rebate form said to send the info to Circuit City, so even if it's the manufacturer who furnishes the rebate, it's still Circuit City who is processing this, and denying me my rebate

It could take up to 3 months..If it is a Circuit City rebate you can call your local CC and ask for the rebate center's number and you can call that number and ask any questions you have.

Circuit City doesn't process your rebate. The processing is done by an outsourced third-party. It will take 4-6 weeks.

I got ripped off too. But mine was from Fry's. They told me that they didn't receive my rebate form and require me to send another one with another original UPC code. But box only had one UPC code which I sent originally! I never received the rebate. After that, I don't trust rebates, unless it's from reputable companies such as Sony, Panasonic etcetera.

Silly human, the rebates are provided by manufacturers and distributers.

Learn from this, and don't shop their again. I was told that I had 30 days to get a total refund. Turns out that is not true. You pay for shipping. Even though they lowered the price of the item I bought, when I returned it I was charged for the shipping.

Yeah I hate those idiots. you walk in and get a bad vibe right away. anywhere else is better than those jerks. when I've been there you can't even get a straight answer from the sales people--and you have to wait on them forever for them to give you their stupid answer. I feel so much better when I walk out of that place every time I make the mistake of going there.
