Somebody said to heat it up.
I want it to be lighter.

Canola cooking oil is quite light in texture and does not need to be heated. The best massage oil I have found is to use Neutrgena Sesame oil (called body oil) Olive oil is way too thick and heating will not help. Other cooking oils will leave the person smelling like cooking oil. Canola is a fine cooking oil and can be enhanced by adding dried rose petals to the oil and allowing the oil to age for a few weeks. I have used this mixture for a long time and everyone loves how it makes them feel. The rose petals remove the cooking oil smell and lighten the oil.
