If you have a 2 cup measuring cup then you see how it applies, a total of 1 2/3 C liquid. You can add the binder (mashed banana) at the same time you add the liquid to the mix. Start your mixer (hand or stand) slow at the start, you adding the liquid into the dry ingredients, then turn up the speed to blend.

Okay use a measuring cup, but if you dont have one use a regular cup (about 4 inches tall). Use the whole cup for one cup and 1/3 of the cup for the oil and the rest of the water (guesstimate). DO NOT mix all the water and oil at once. Put it about half a cup at a time. Also if you are putting in bananas you might want to leave 1/3 of water out and it will take longer to bake because you added an ingredient. Just use your best judgment.

Reminder: you can blend the bananas in and it will have the
taste, than just cutting it into small pieces (usually it will fall to the bottom of the cake).

Do you have a measuring cup? The amounts are printed on the side of the cup. You need 1 cup plus 1/3 cups of water and 1/3 cup veg.oil. You use the whole mixture with those amounts! I would just mix the banana in with the cake mix and water and oil all at the same time. Sounds yummy!!

Sara, A cup of liquid is based on 8 oz in cooking terms. So, if you have only say, a coffee cup then find some food iten, such as a soup can, it's 10oz so if you make graduated marks on it you can measure off 8 oz, or 1 c. For the 1/3 Cup that is 1/ 1/2 oz.
You can also sub applesauce for the oil and you will be fine. Don't worry if you're a little off it won't matter that much.

Go to the 99 cent store and get measuring cups and use the ones marked 1 cup, 1/3 cup etc. You should mix the water, oil, and banana first and add it to the entire package of cake mix and mix. I recommend that you take the cake out a little early..this makes it moister!!! How do you tell if it's early? Poke it with a fork; if there are crumb like cake sediments you're good. If its gooey leave it in longer. Or just leave it in for recommended time.

You can't skip the eggs.................................

You dont need to mix the water and oil. Oils and water do not mix!!!

You made the easiest thing in the world, look like rocket science!!!!

Dump the cake mix in a bowl, add the eggs, water and oil to the bowl & mix!!!!!

THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would use a 12 oz cup and look carefully at the markings. Good luck!
