Depends on the personality of the guy - is he lazy, too laid-back etc? Once a guy called me a full month after our first (fantastic) date! He said he had meant to ... time went by ... it became too embarrassing in the end but one night (while he was out at the supermarket!) he called me. It was just a friendly chat but it was clear we were both still interested and we ended up together for 5 years! As I got to know him better, I realised that the delayed call was typical of him because he was actually rather shy and found it hard to make the next move. Sometimes you have to take that into account and maybe make things a bit easier for him - without looking too desperate!

Good luck!

The THREE DAY RULE helps us women set the men aside from the boys and jack the lads (my friends and i swear by it!):

*If a guy says he'll call you, if he's interested he will but most likely not the next day, something to do with looking needy i guess.

*If he hasnt called after three days he isnt that into you, unless when he does call there is a good enough reason, like illness or death!

*If the reason is fairly lame and/or it's a weekend then he obviously isnt into you for your brains if you catch my drift! (oh how i know those types...)

*FINALLY however there are the ones that WILL call somewhere around day 2/3. They're keen, don't wanna scare u off but are definately into you and are keepers!

Sometimes nothing. It depends. If you slept together, then he says hell call tomorrow and doesn't, then he is moving on to the next. If you guys just figured out that you have feeling for each other, and he said he's call, but didn't, I wouldn't worry about it. I guarantee all that is going through is head is whether he calls you too soon......Give it a couple days

It does not really mean anything. It could mean that they are either nervous or they want to blow you off. I tell friends that sometimes and they know what I mean is in a few days. The better I know somebody the more the i'll call you tommorow does not matter.

Been there! It means that, for some reason, he's just not interested. But that's OK, because by the time he manages to make up his confused mind, you'll be with another guy who IS interested. Cheers, girl!

I know you said guys but I figured they don't call the next day because they are wimps. When you get the call the next day....it means he is someone special...thats how I take it. My boyfriend now called me the next day and we are still together. He is a sweety. All those guys that waited a couple of days to call me...never worked out.

1. We're not really all that into you, otherwise we actually WOULD call you the next day.

2. We don't want you to think we're so into you, therefore we don't call the next day so that way you'll begin to wonder if we're really into you or not. And this gets lots of girls thinking, such as you who is asking this question on yahoo answers.
