How do i let a guy know that I am moving on without telling him?

In any relationship honesty is key. Simply telling him how you feel will hurt him and you a lot less in the long run. It will be clean and over where as dodging the issue in hopes he figures it out is cowardice and very unfair to the person you are seeing.

If he thinks he is still together with you and is acting in good faith on that assumption you cannot move on until you tell him, or it is cheating, plain and simple. Do you really want to be the kind of person who cheats, or the kind of person who is honest and upstanding enough to come clean about their feelings?

He will be hurt either way, but telling him leaves him at least respecting you and the possibility of staying friends. Keep in mind at one point you were fond enough of this person to start a relationship. I have dated six girls past the second date, I saw them all for over a year, and am still friends with all because although things did not work out for whatever reason, I was always honest and they respected me.

The girls I did not see past the second date I would simply thank them for agreeing to go out with me, tell them I enjoyed meeting them but that I did not see a relationship developing. Some I became friends with, most faded away, but none were left wondering.

hey, you do what you feel you need to...but would you like someone to "move on" and not tell you that is what they are doing? I mean isn't that like total lack of respect?
it is cool if you want to move on and only you know the reason(s) why...but at least be a decent person and let them know you are moving on and don't leave them hanging out there.

WTF! you need to tell the guy, if you don't tell him it may very well cause you problems in the not to distant future. I married a woman who was dating a guy and she told him nothing about our marriage, he show's up at the door a couple weeks later with flowers wanting to talk to her, he thought i might be her brother, when i told him i was her husband, he was really angry and went looking for her with a gun. You never know what the guy may do if you just do not tell him. So it's best to tell him straight up and this way you may avoid becoming a statistic.

You can talk to him less and start talking to more boys and just sorround yourself with friends , but if you mean you still want to be his friend but you want to tell him you dont like him without telling him, talk to him as if he were any other guy and that he is not as important in your life as he used to be.
