I think you have 30 days, but I don't remember. Read ALL the fine print on the back of the contract

THERE IS NO 3 DAY "COOLING OFF" PERIOD!!!!!!! This is about the 500000000th time someone has asked this!!!!!!!!!!

Once you sign that contract, the car belongs to you!!!!!!

The only state that has a cooling off period is CA, but you must PURCHASE this coverage for $150 or more. And it's only for 2 days.

If everyone were allowed to change their mind after purchasing a car, dealers would go out of business. People really need to understand that when they sign a contract, it's not merely writing your name. You are making a LEGALLY BINDING COMMITMENT. Don't take it so damn lightly.

S-T-U-C-K.

Tell her not to drive it back to the dealership, say she doesn't want it, then refuse to make payments. It'll go on her credit report as a "voluntary repossession" and it'll haunt her for years.

Unless she can find a major defect that would qualify under Colorado's lemon laws (if there are any) then she' stuck with the car.
