You could be pregnant and have some bleeding. Sometimes there is bleeding when the egg implants itself in the uterine wall. You would have some other issues, though, like sensitive breasts, moodiness, nausea, may even constipation. Pregnancy tests aren't as expensive as they used to be, so grab one if you're not sure.

Question: Can you be pregnant and still get your period?
Answer: Well, no, you can't get your period once you're pregnant — once your body starts producing the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and your pregnancy is established, your menstrual cycle is interrupted and normal periods stop. But you may have bleeding or spotting during pregnancy that can seem like a period.
Some pregnant women have what's called "implantation bleeding" that can happen around the time their period is due, and they may mistake that bleeding for a period. This spotting may be caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the blood-rich lining of the uterus, a process that starts just 6 days after fertilization, and it's generally a lot lighter than a typical period — just a day or two of very light spotting.
If you're pregnant and you're not sure when your last period started, this can make establishing a due date difficult for your healthcare provider. If you have any doubts, your provider can feel how big your uterus is with a pelvic examination and estimate how far along you are. In most cases, your provider will also order an ultrasound before the middle of your pregnancy to measure the size of your developing baby and clarify exactly when the baby is due.
Many women who bleed a little bit in early pregnancy deliver without any complications, but bleeding can also be a cause for concern. It may be the first sign of a miscarriage. If so, your symptoms probably will go on to include heavy cramping and bleeding much heavier than a normal period.
Abnormal bleeding can also be a sign of ectopic or tubal pregnancy. If you have sharp pains in your lower abdomen, especially if the pain is only on one side, you should see your practitioner right way to find out if you have an ectopic pregnancy. A tubal pregnancy can be life-threatening, and sometimes the only symptom is bleeding around the time your period is expected. Often, the period may be lighter than usual. Sometimes a home pregnancy test will be negative, and the pregnancy can only be detected by checking blood hCG levels.
If you bleed at all early in your pregnancy, it's best to notify your doctor or midwife to get specific instructions. She may suggest getting a blood test to check your hCG levels or order an ultrasound to evaluate your condition more thoroughly.

Yes, you could be pregnant and still have your period. I am 6 months pregnant and the first month I was pregnant I still had a period it was just lighter and lasted about 2 days less than average so I knew something was off. My grandma had her period the first 5 months she was pregnant with my father she found out she was pregnant because she went to the doctor for what she thought was tumor in her belly! Or, your cycle could just be off due to stress of worrying about being pregnant. Just go take a test and find out already!

WTF?! why would you have unprotected sex to begin with? no, you can't be pregnant and have a period, but you can be pregnant and have spotting for any number of reasons, most of which aren't good. see a doctor, confirm whether or not your pregnant, and find out why you're having this spotting that's not like your regular period. make sure he didn't give you anything you don't want, including a baby, and quit being so effing stupid and use a condom! for god's sake, why would you be asking a bunch of strangers why you're having this problem? were you really expecting someone to tell you that you weren't pregnant? like that would magically make it true? you dummies throwing your a$$ around with no thought to the consequences, you people piss me off.

Oh no, you can be pregnant and still get your period. You can have it just for the first couple months or you can actually have it through almost the whole pregnancy. Just take a home test and find out.

You can be, but its pretty rare. People do have periods while they're pregnant, but they are usually more spotty & very short (like a day or 2). Put your mind at ease, go grab a test. The over the counter tests are really reliable.

Since you have had sex these past 2 months, you can be preagnant. If you get your period anytime, wether your 11 or 13
My freind had her period when she was 10, so you can never know what may happen. Just slow down with the sex. OK
Just be careful or you can be preagnant just like that, so remember that:)

Yes, not only is it possible but according to my doctor, fairly common. I had my period for 6 moths with one pregnancy and 4 with my second. They were shorter and lighter. Take a test to be on the safe side.

Yes it is possible. I had a period, though quite light for the first 3 months. My mother had hers for up to the 5th month also.

There is no way your could be prego...unless you had sex the night before your period...then youll still get it. I just started doing that too....but I take a test every three weeks just to make sure. It helps me not be so stressed out.
