i think its partly bc you do more to your face than your body, like wash it more often, so the cells are renewed faster, causing your tan to fade. also the skin on your body is thicker, so it holds the tan longer. try using a little self tanner for your face mixed in with your moisturizer.

Generally it is common and natural in human. We have comparatively fair skin in unexposed places of the body and darker in exposed places. This happens due to sunburn, dryness and much more natural reasons. You can reduce this by using good cosmetic, cream, sunscreen.
Try to take a good care of your skin. Visit a doctor for this reason. I don't think you wold get a reliable answer from yahoo answer. Do not use foundation. It will create additional problem.

well i kind of have the same problem. my back is a bit darker than ever where else. its weird but funny. i think its because when i was little my family and i would go to the beach a lot. and i would always face my back to the sun. i guess it burned my skin way way to much. i dont know for sure though
but take care.

Darker makeup can change that. Also tan your face to help it with a special tanner bought at your store. Contact a makup artist about the right color for you

yuo are right when u say that its because of the moisturizer they add more nutrients and water to ur face so the pigment of ur skin is sort of diluted when u moisturize it( but its very good that u do moisturize it!) If u want it more even start using lotion on the rest of ur body. ( I reccomend lubrederm in the pink bottle)
Good Luck!!!

We wash our face more than any other part. Washing will scrub off the surface cells...and this is where the coloring is.

The skin is different on the skin. You may want to try sunblock.
