27 years old, I started seeing this guy last year. He was still living with his ex-girlfriend but I thought i'd give it a shot. Things ended because he wanted to stop or slow things down as his ex was making it hard for him to go home. She was jealous he was seeing me. The catcher is that they were still friends and would be in contact. We broke things off (mutually). However, a few months down the road he wanted to get back together with me because he realized their relationship was over (aside from friends). I gave in and gave him the benefit of the doubt and we started going out. I was very hesitant with many things, especially him still being in touch with his ex, and having trouble trusting him. We are now longer together because he lied to me one too many times and I didn't want to be treated that way. A part of me thinks he may want to try and get back with me down the road when his ex realizes she finally has him and no longer wants him. Should I give him another chance?

No.....sounds like he wants to have both of you and he cannot do that. Listen to the reason(s) you broke up with him.....those things haven't changed.

Simple answer; no. Based on your question, he has no respect for you he didn't give you the respect to make up his mind on being serious about you the first time around and the second time around he didn't give you the respect of something as simple as being honest with you. You have to face the fact that you may have been his back up girl. People only treat you how you allow them to treat you so start standing up for yourself and show him that kind of behavior won't be tolerated by you anymore! You can do better.

No you shouldn't give him another chance. So you think it's okay to be 2nd best? So you are saying that his ex wanted him back when he was with you then when she doesn't want him anymore he comes back to you. No you're not being fair to yourself. Don't let anyone one do that to you. The only time you should come second is when he has children. Let him GO.

NO!!! move on! Spare yourself the heartache. He has lied to you one too many times and still lives with his ex. You are young go out and find someone else who is worth your time and won't screw around with you!
