There are none. There is no way of registering yourself as an atheist. Any information on the number of atheists there are is simply a guess.

No statistics but most Atheists no doubt come from families with some sort of religion in the background.

I wouldn't call it a conversion as much as an awakening.
But I used to be an evangelical. Now I am an atheist. So mark "one" for me under that stat.
