I am a bulimic too and I understand what you're feeling. Go outside for a few minutes and look and smell the freshness. Remeber, if you can, that it was only a little bit of food and it REALLY won't show or cause weight gain. You'll just be very careful for the rest of the day and everything will be okay. Think for a minute how uncomfortable it is to make yourself throw up and how you'll feel guilty afterward. You can get through this one little thing and it will be better tomorrow. I bingerd yesterday on six homemade Tollhouse cookies and Cheez-its etc. I felt so bad, but I figured that one binge would not show and I would be very careful today to make up for it. You can do this!

i used to think that being a bulimic was no big deal and wasn't interfering w/my life. after all, throw up once, no big deal. but then my life became nothing but a series of those moments of throwing up, with sleeping in between. i cannot begin to tell you the health damage i have suffered (now 36, began purging at 9, stopped a few years ago though i struggle sometimes). this behavior, whether you realize it or not, will or is keeping you from developing yourself as a person, your interests/abilities/relationships. don't punish yourself. find something fun to do.

Calm down, hon. Think about this...how many calories could possibly be in a cookie? If you really feel that you overate (and I doubt you did) have a nice chicken caesar salad for dinner. But throwing up is not going to help any. The damage it causes is far worse than that cookie.

Oh don't do it you much to important to your family and friends to start back on that. You must try to distract yourself from these feelings some how, like calling a friend or someone who is a counselor. I wish I had more to say but I don't but please call someone or do something to take your mind off of it.

You know that its bad for your health to do it. Sit and list all the reasons you shouldn't....but the time that's done you will hopefully be over the urge to vomit

try focusing on something you like to do, a hobby or relaxing with a good book you can get lost in. continue eating, but with temperance.
are you still speaking to a medical professional. please get in touch with one. ***only they can give you the right advice to help yourself. no one else can. and with it, you CAN continue to overcome this struggle with their assistance.
it is a constant battle though.
i wish you the best.
