I wouldn't see Lopez having any trouble moving up to super fly. I had the privilege of seeing Galaxy fight when I was stationed in Korea. We scored tickets and a 2 day pass to Seoul and he fought at the downtown Sheraton against a fighter called Choi. He controlled the fight from start to finish and took the guy out in the 8th or 9th round. Impressive power for a lighter weight fighter. El Finito vs. The Thai Tyson. Good match up. Galaxy was a southpaw slugger who bored in on his opponent and wore them down with power shots. Lopez was a boxer slugger who was technically close to perfect. If I was a trainer and had a kid who wanted to learn to box I would make watching video of Lopez required viewing. I think El Finito would be able to handle Galaxy thru the use of his superior boxing skill. I see Lopez using a lot of lateral movement to offset Galaxy's rushes. When Galaxy was able to corner Ricardo, and believe me he would, Lopez would simply turn Galaxy spin out of the corner and out box him. Lopez would win a slim UD thru the use of his skill and crisper textbook combinations. Ricardo would not leave the match unscathed as Galaxy would land some heavy hard shots. Possibly cutting up El Finito. Great match and it's a shame Galaxy never fought anywhere but the Pacific Rim.
