even if you were big before you had your baby?

Yes and no... Its not supposed to be a weight loss program, but it does help loose extra fat. I am bigger, and breastfeed my 4 month old. I lost all the weight from having him, plus a little extra... but then tappered off. You burn extra calories when you nurse, so if your not eating enough, this can also cause you to lose more weight then your supposed too. Its not a super great way to lose a bunch of weight, but it does help with some of those pregnancy pounds!

Yes it can, that would be one of the benefits for you during the breastfeeding process. Not only will it assist you in losing weight but it stimulates the other sensors that release other hormones to assist in the process. And the best is you baby will get every thing you have and get natural antibodies to fight the common cold among others. Congratulations, and Good Luck

yes it helps to take the weight off but you would still have to exercise because breast feeding only gives nurturing vitamines to your baby

yes it can. as a matter of fact, that's how I lost the baby weight after my first child.
