- Gargle with warm salt water (one teaspoon of salt in eight ounces of water). The salt reduces swelling and discomfort.
- If you have postnasal drip, gargle frequently to prevent more throat irritation.
- Drink more fluids to soothe a sore throat. Honey and lemon or weak tea may help.
- Stop smoking and avoid others' smoke.
- Acetaminophen, aspirin, or ibuprofen will relieve pain and reduce fever. Do not give aspirin to children and teens under age 20.

U need to see doctor as u may have strep throat,pneumonia etc. don't wait as things can become more serious FAST!! U can suck on sore throat drops, gargle with warm salt water for temp relief only. Please do't wait!!! good luck, feel better, be safe xo Donna

put some salt in a warm Glass{37c-40c} of water try to pull it up by your nose while you hold it in your hand breath from the nose.
it is very hard but it has grate effects.

If you are some one who takes medicine than I would try that spray called cepacol...and if you like the homeopathic remedies try honey and lemon heat it a little and sip..:)
