my daughter is getting married in three months. her father is no longer alive. I wil be attending the wedding with my boyfriend. When they introduce the wedding party how should they announce me and my boyfriend such mother of the bride and friend or etc.? please help

They should say the mother of the bride "Mrs. James Jones" escorted by Mr. Tim Smith. If you were divorced, it would be Mrs. Nancy Jones...

I would say if your seeing him for a long time and your daughter is close to him and she is confortable with it - it should be ok...Just announce him buy his name....no title needs to be given such as; boy friend, friend, flavor of the month...

maybe just mother of the bride and leave the and guest part alone, unless your daughter is really close to this man I would just leave it off all together unless you are married or engaged, remember, you may be the mother of the bride but this day is really about your daughter

They should say, "The mother of the bride (Insert name and title -- Ms., Mrs. etc) escorted by (insert bf's name here with title -- Mr.)." Be CERTAIN you discuss this with the DJ prior to the ceremony... he will recommend anything different. Also discuss with the DJ whether there will be a father-daughter/mother-son dance... if there is, make sure he knows who she is dancing with. If not, make sure it is completely ignored and the DJ knows not to mention it!!!
