Schmeling was a smart fighter. He picked Louis apart in the first fight as a result of finding a flaw in the Brown Bomber's technique (dropping the left after he jabbed). I see Schmeling knocking out Ingo in round 8.

Schemeling by KO in 6, Max was under-rated, Ingemar was over-rated.

Good question!! In my humble opinion, Max. I think he may have been to powerful for Ingemar. I think it would have gone 11 or 12 rounds and Maxes power would wear him down. Fight over via knockout.

Very even pairing. Equal power. I think Schmeling would beat Johansson by decision. If you can stay with Louis for more than 10 rounds and beat him I think you can beat Johansson.

I'd pick Schmeling. Max was a bigger guy and could box. He KO'd Joe Louis. Ingy was tricky but all right hand.
