If you're talking about street fights, then stop doing that because it's immature. If you mean martial arts fights, then I don't get the anger. It's a sport. You're not supposed to be "out for blood". If blood is spilled in the fight, good. But anger only gets in the way of good skills because you can't think straight when anger is involved.

hmm there is a lot to be said about adrenaline, but one thing is for sure after you know a certain amount of technique it might make you worse of a fighter.

practice meditating (dont laugh) breathing excercises help a lot so maybe a few times a week would help. this in the end will teach you to focus as well as teach you to breath, which is the key to supressing and harnessing your adrenaline !

when you get into that fight (hopfully not a real fight but a systematic one like at a martial arts school or comp.) and you feel your adrenaline pumping .. breath 3-10 deep breaths it'll calm your flow of adrenaline and help relax your mind and body

air in through the nose
out through the mouth
take 10 seconds for each inhale and exhale

hope this helps

It's a normal reaction, everyone gets it from bogyguards, bouncers to pro fighters. anyone tells you otherwise they are full of it. It's caused by the adrenaline dump and prepares your body for combat if you didn't get it I would be worried cause you wouldn't be prepared to handle violence...trust me I know I am a former bouncer/bodyguard.

Some tips to help you out are when you feel the shakes coming tense every muscle in your body all at once and hold it for 2-3 seconds if you can (depending on your situation you are in). You can also breathe in through your nose for a 3 count hold for a 3 count and out through your mouth for a 3 count. This type of breathing is used by SWAT Team members and helps lower your heart rate when the threat of violence arises.

You also should go into a controlled rage "killer instinct" when you are threatened so you turn the tables on your attacker and become the victimizer and he becomes the victim. This will give you more of a feeling of being in control of the sitaution, calming your nerves.

I don't think it's that great to have your adrenaline pumping from the start. ESPECIALLY since adrenaline interferes with your frontal lobe's ability to make good decisions (sympathetic response). Just focus on controlling your breathing, and be confident in your skills. Try long runs... a healthy cardiovascular system lowers your resting and active heart rate, and you don't have to fight as hard to keep your breathing under control.

Train with someone who understand this and acquire superior technology, Couple this with incredible phsyical training (and there are a few who know how to train you mentally, like the Esatern BLoc used to do--and why they were so dominating in the Olympics)

Or just go through a lot of fights (over 100).

Your senses are on red alert, which is great.
It is the body reacting to the stress of the unknown, it can help make you fast and sharp.
What you want is the reaction that comes from experience without the experience.
Take advantage of the tools you have as you have them.

Try this...it doesn't work for everyone...but it works for me...GET PUNCHED FIRST! Sounds funny but it works like a slap on a ranting lunatic. It wakes you up and focuses you on the fact someone is trying to mess you up.

its not bad for other people to think your nervous because they are gonan underestimate you and take you as a light person then when they get jabbed they are gonan be shocked and out focus so use that to youre advantage because you probably wont be able to contain those feelings inside before a fight its better to go with it than to fight it itself
