Cerdan by UD. Cerdan beat a great middleweight in Zale. He beat him by pulverizing him to the body. Unfortunately he was injured in his math with Lamotta. I think Cerdan out muscles and wears out Nino.

Benvenutti fought some great fighters like Griffith. He looked good even agianst the best of the best. Still I don't think he had quite the same excellence that Cerdan had. I believe Cerdan was a top 10 middleweight of all time.

Cerdan would win this fight by decision. Any man that can stay with Jake LaMotta for 10 rounds only fighting with one hand gets my nod any day. Cerdan would have won the rematch.
