Should We Stay 'Just Good Friends'?

Question

It's a bit of a long one, this gentleman is more friends with my sister and her ex husband (who hates the idea of me and his friend) we became friends and had a little something going on. I didn't really want a relationship with him and he went back to sea and that was that. Had a couple of relationships while he was away and we were nothing but friends. I then got drunk and told him I would be his girlfriend. Not really sure what I should do about it, he's always had feelings for me and I don't want to hurt him. I care about him, but not sure if it's as more than friends. Does that sort of thing grow?

It can grow but not always, physical attraction is very important as well as friendship.
If you are questioning it then I think you've already answered this question deep down.
You'll hurt him more if you keep up the pretence now, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

You need to decide if you want to have sex and maybe ruin the friendship (cause sex always changes relationships) or if you hold his friendship dear. To just remain as friends. Try to make a decision that you will not regret. Good Luck.

Yes and No.. you should feel something more than infatuation or that new crush thingy feeling, after a few short weeks if its something more. Can love grow stronger yes.. can it be invented or made to happen ??? NO Take it one day at a time and if it happens it will happen..

i think it will grow, but don't use alcohol as an excuse. my friend is dating someone she never really had feelings for. but there r times feelings don't grow after being with someone.
