My life is very complicated and has lots of issues. However, as a whole, I'd have to say I am happy.

Most Christians recognize that their's is a sacrificial life, as was Christ's. The whole notion of the "abundant living" gospel of the Joel Osteen's of the world seems out of place with practical Christianity.
When I think of my burdens, I am reminded of the wonderful burden of Christianity:
A Wonderful Burden
1. An acceptance in the Beloved which can never be questioned. (Eph. 1:6)
2. A bounty which can never be withdrawn. (I Cor. 3:21-23)
3. A deliverance which can never be excelled. (2 Cor. 1:10)
4. A grace which can never be limited. (2 Cor. 12:9)
5. A hope which can never be disappointed. (He. 6:18-19)
6. An inheritance which can never be lost. (I Pe. 1:3-5)
7. A joy which need never be diminished. (Jn. 15:11)
8. A kingdom which can never be overturned. (He. 12:28)
9. A nearness to God which can never be reversed. (Eph. 2:13)
10. A peace which can never be disturbed. (Jn. 14:27)
11. A righteousness which can never be tarnished. (2 Cor. 5:21)
12. A salvation which can never be cancelled. (He. 5:9)

Yes, I am extremely happy because I have Jesus in my life. And before I had the worlds virus and parasite infested thinking making me miserable now I have True wisdom to view things through. And I realize that anything even what I came into the world with has been added onto me and if it leaves my existence I actually have not lost a thing.
And I can now thank our Lord God for what He has put in my existence instead of complain about what He hasn't. He is after all the LORD of HOSTS. Take care and may GOD bless you.

Better a dissatisfied Socrates that a satisfied pig...
(Probably, but occasionally the happy pig is tempting)
Philosophy and reading too much can be dangerous to happiness. (Run! It's too late for me but you can still save yourself!)
"Lift not the festal mask! -enough to know, no scene of mortal life but teems with mortal woe. "
Sir Walter Scott.
And there's me went looking behind the masks...
I'm working on a better place, and a new career.
I've seen too much in my time to find happy easy to come by.

Fairly happy, yes. There are things I'd like to change and I'm working on it (things fairly easily fixable but that depend on others to get carried out). But I think thats the same for everyone.
