Hi, five months ago I found out my boyfriend of 6months was cheating on me with his ex-girlfriend from out of state for months before I found out about it. I also found out that he knew she had hpv and never told me that he could be infecting me as well. Needless to say, I broke up with him. So five months later, after looking at his page on myspace, i find out he might have a new girlfriend. So I wrote her telling her exactly what he did to me and how she should not waste her time because he is a pathological liar. I know he found out because his page is now set to private. My question is...was it wrong of me to medle in his business and tell this new girl what he's really like or should i have let karma take care of him? I'm starting to feel bad for stooping to his level. Help!

His possibly passing on the hpv to you was an act of violence as far as I am concerned. Warning that girl was your responsibility to protect her. Since he privatized his my space account you can do no more. Sleep easy, you did the right thing and wasted no more of your life on him.

I can certainly see why you did what you did and I don't even knock you for it. We all have different ways of expressing ourselves. So no, I don't think you were wrong for what you did. He was a cheating SOB. Knowing me though, I doubt I would have sent his new girlfriend anything about him because Karma is a b*tch. His new girlfriend may give HIM something (lol)!! I'm just glad you aren't with him anymore. Because just think - you could have stayed with him and caught HIV. Be glad it's the "new" girl and not YOU. :)

the reason why you told the new girlfriend about your ex is really what determines if you should have done it or not. if your concern was for the new girlfriend--you were afraid she would be hurt, then your motive was wonderful. if you did it as revenge, just to get back at your ex, then your motive was less than admirable--you may want to do a little soul searching. also, why would you go to his site anyway--get on with your life without him.

What he did to you wasn't right. What you didn't wasn't a lot better. You can't take it back and there's no point in apologizing. Just try to forget about and be grateful you got out of a bad relationship before it got too far.

Forget it. However, make sure that if he infected you, you actually, prove it in front of a judge: Press charges of assault, and make him pay for personal damages which are physical and emotion. Make it cost in terms of bucks.
