Yes, a person can be kicked out of the military for many reasons. They have laws called the Uniform Code of Military Justice and if you break a law you may be discharged if found guilty depending on the severity of the crime. There are five discharge levels: honorable, general under honorable conditions, general under other than honorable conditions, bad-conduct and dishonorable.
You can also get an admin separation or medical discharge if needed.

Yes they can. I know of two people who were dishonorably discharged. Both were for different reasons.
One was for being violent towards another member and the other was due to being a no-call/no-show at work on a regular basis. You have to be pretty bad to be kicked out of the military.
And here is an extra tid-bit: Even if you are dishonorably discharged from the military, you can apply to have the discharge status changed to honorable after six months of leaving.
Crazy huh?
Hope this helped. Have a good day.

Yes it's possible to get kicked out. It's usually for not doing your job or participating in criminal activities. Sometimes it's medical.
Not all "kicked out" people are dishonorably discharged. And being kicked out has nothing to do with getting bank loans or finding a successful career. I can limit you in certain areas and effect your veteran's benefits. Despite what many people may tell you, you don't have to have an honorable discharge to be able to survive.
And there are different levels of discharge from honorable, less than honorable, to dishonorable.

There is ALWAYS a discharge called "Convenience of the Government"... you can leave volunteerily however it is a HUGE pain to work it all through. When you raise your hand, you're signing a contract for 2-4-6 years. Tough to get out otherwise, but it's possible

Another reason people get removed from service is a pop on a drug test, which are pretty frequent. The process is long and inconvenient, and in any case uncle sam will usually get a few more months of bs work out of his admin-seps before sending them on thier way.

Yes you can be kicked out of the military, it's called a "Dishonorable Discharge". I knew of two people kicked out for sleeping while on duty...guard duty even. Wow! Don't I want them protecting me. The military doesn't hang on to dead wood. It's not a place to be because you don't have anything else to do or to be. The Military is a proud bunch, it's not for everybody.

yes you can be kicked out for a lot of things. Usually if he was kicked out that is not an honorable discharge and it makes it virtually impossible to get /loans/etc bc it is forever on your record. I am sure if is successful he left by choice.
