first find an inspiration piece, such as a painting or curtain fabric. pull a color out of that piece and use it on the walls. i feel that brown leather looks good with a gold tone wall or a color in the green family such as avocado. if you choose a gold tone you can add a splash of color with a rust red color and green. or if you choose green you can add color with a red throw or throw pillows. make sure the colors you use are repeated in the accessories you choose. add drama without dollars by gathering large twigs in the yard and arranging them in a tall vase. good luck. another thing you can do is tape wide vertical stripes after painting the wall and go over it with a glaze. the effect will be subtle but will add interest and will make the room feel larger and warmer. i think the best width for vertical stripes is 14 inches.

to boot as creams, i'd look for a remarkable good color too; possibly claret or burgundy between the reds (possibly a purple carpet with a cream colored rug so it does not all finally end up too dark); some gold, the two in the fabric or embellishes (eg: a huge gold painted vase, or revealed gold on creamy colored curtain fabric or cushions) will provide a heat glow. in case you're actually not into reds, attempt some wooded area vegetables. do no longer overdo the browns, as your settee is offering that. There are a limiteless form of colorings to choose for between; and you gets your guy or woman mixed for paints. you're able to acquire some tester colorings. Paint some scrap card and prop it up in the room for a week or 2 to work out in case you like it. Ask for samples of, say, curtain fabric and do an identical.

i think warm or cool colors would look great with dark brown anything, just be sure you don't go with a dark version of those colors as that would be too much in one area.

Also the best thing is try and decorate the living room with crystallized items it'll bring out the richness in the brown leather and will look classy.

Totally cool!!!
Dark brown leather goes with a lot.

you can experiment on the web site with paint at the
www.behr.com

you will need a fast internet connection NOT a dial up connection or the web site will not work well for you.

Reds, Burgundy's or neutrals such as beige, certain yellows would give a lot of richness to your living room.

Your options are unlimited.

Light Blue and chocolate/brown look very good together. If i were you i would paint the walls light blue.I was at target yesterday and there were blue and brown pillows that were very cute.If you like one shade of blue a lot,but think it may be too much, then you could do the main wall that color and that rest of the walls a shade lighter.

Forget what colors people say go with what. find some color samples and do what YOU like. It's your house, make it look the way you want. You can put purple with orange polkadots with it if YOU like it.
