First of, a lot of people on here making it sound like the worst thing ever, IT IS NOT.
I had a very tough pregnancy 1st time and my angel was well not an angel cried all the time, we had another when she was 3 and the 2nd was a doddle, we where more prepared, and my eldest was great by then to.
Having my 2nd baby was the best thing for all of us, we have just planned our 3rd and last and im now 8 weeks pregnant, and not at all nervous.
Its not always harder having 2 , i promise

The beauty of the second child is that you are far more experienced than with the first!
So if you had a tough time the first time, the second time can only really be better because you know so much more.
Try not to worry so much, you will find a routine without even thinking about it, and before you know it you will be thinking about trying for number 3!!
Good Luck.

In a lot of ways going from 1 to 2 was pretty easy. I was a lot more relaxed, and it was not as worrisome.
The down-sides would have to be not being able to take much rest time when you need it (depending on age of the older one) and them fighting each other. I also really didn't see how I could love my 2nd one as much as the first and would even cry thinking how unfair that was. (Of course, I do love them both and a whole lot!)
Everything will probably be a lot different this time, I say go for it.

When you say "difficult" do you mean with your pregnancy? Or with the child, say not sleeping, or something? It's quite an adjustment to go from one to two. It's a lot more work, but worth it.

To be worn out most of the time. Get them to listen to you asap.
Talk to them and get them to understand you are in charge with out being a dictator. Tell them you love them a lot..
Good luck!!! I have two grown children. Also I worked with children before I had some of my own. That was a big help and I advise Every one to do the same.

OMG...noone can tell you what to expect. I had a rough time with both pregnancies. With two at home now, i never get a minute to myself...it's definatley an experience. but worth it.

talk to your ob/gyn first to make sure you won't be harmed by another pregnancy or delivery. other than that, I don't know what you mean by "what to expect". the second time can be really easy.

If you are older than the one you are getting you won't get much attention. If it's a baby then the baby will get alot of attention. Try to get someone older than you. Hope this helps!
