It's like a dying dog. It can still bite you if you get too close. But hopefully it won't live much longer.

only relies upon, ur on the incorrect place for asking those questions. U could bypass to diffrent religons and spot what u think of is the reality. IM open minded and study alot approximately religon.yet u can not only p.c.. and chosen what u prefer for a religon which would be man made. quite often all christain or maybe all christain domination are man made. as a result they diffr no person is conscious that's the write one. As biealiving in some aspects because of the fact the bible and jesus, then u have only 2 alternatives. Islam, or christanity which i reccomend u bypass and study from actual sources no longer from media. U dont prefer one sideded answer, so U can bypass to youtube which i locate helpfu,l ask a imam or a preacher, and study the two books. Im a muslim convert so i became into on the degree, im giving suggestion becuase i went and majoried in biblical theology and am now engaged on the islamic feild.

Religion will neve die, the bible says so :) Jesus will come back before that happens, and even during the tribulation there will be a few christians still preaching the gospel. I know so many good men of God that I cant imagine them all up and quitting one day, deciding religion isnt for them. My husband has given his life up to God to be a missionary/preacher, and would never stop for anyone.
Jesus will come back before that happens, nice thought for unbelievers who are convicted daily by christians testimonys of God though huh?

Actually it's growing faster today than ever before. Never before have we seen churches buying out former Sports Arenas just to house most of their members. It's awesome!

It might take longer than that. I believe a quite a few generations will come and go before it fades away. Too bad I won't be there to see it.

God will not allow religion to die out. I can just imagine the way the world will be without it. We'd be even worse off. You can thumbs down me all you want for believing religion should remain. Someone has to teach the world morality.

I think that may be true...in the death of old practices, new belief systems will emerge and affect how humans relate to others in the surrounding world.

Try another 1,000 years. Or maybe 2,000. Only 15% or less of the population is free from religion. It's goign to take a very, very long time. Sad isn't it?
