The Sock Monster. Sometimes Socks just get stuck in the dryer. But... Eventually you'll get them back. Ask her to safety pin the socks together, or wash one of them stuffed inside the other.

There is documented evidence of the Odd Sock Swipers Gangs activities in the Hosiery monthly magazine. The hosiery industry is supporting these darstadly villains in that sales increase in proportion to the Swipers success. It has been whispered in certain circles, that a training camp has been set up in Leicester in order to hone the skills of these scurrilous sock grabbers!
There are few precautions that you can take against this insidious threat, the main one being to either hide yer sox in a pillow case, or fix a tracking device to each sock for an immediate police chase when activated! Any further ideas are welcome at cosmic@saveasock.com
