I have been looking for true love for a long time. Does anyone know where and how I might find it? I am an honest loyal romantic sweet guy,but most girls don't take the time to get to know me..

If anyone can really answer this question they ought to be writing books and making a fortune, not wasting time on the net....but anyway...
Whether you will find true love or not, I have no idea. I got real lucky, I found my true love. It was fate - or luck depending on your opinion. I actually met my fiancee at a red light. Go figure.
So I don't know the answer to your questions - what defines love, and how you find it. I do have some suggestions for you tho....
1: Give yourself a chance: Now you might not meet your match at a red light - or at a bar or club either for that matter. But you definitely WON'T find her at home! She aint gonna knock on the door and ask for you is she? So get out there and do stuff - play a sport, go browse the shops you like, check out the art gallery. Do something you like, and keep your eyes peeled.
2: Don't focus on being alone. The more you do, the more intolerable you will be to hang around. You'll come off as desperate and hopeless. Trust me on this one. Live your own life as well as you can. Believe that shes out there, and that you'll find her sooner or later. In the meantime, do things that make you happy, that you enjoy and {hopefully} that are good for you. When you do meet her she'll be impressed that you didn't sit around moping about being alone, but that you have a full active interesting and happy life. Have a life someone would want to share with you, not an existence you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.
3: Keep an open mind. She could be younger or older, earn more or earn less, be American or Chinese. Your true love will be someone you connect with on an unparalleled scale. Your equal, your partner - someone on your level. Its about how you relate to each other.
4: Finally - don't self destruct. Being on your own can be depressing - especially as you get older and more and more of your peers find their partners. Don't resort to drugs, or alcohol, or gambling to fill the void. Don't destroy yourself because you're upset at being alone.

Well first off, stop looking for it. If it is meant to be one day it will. Just be patient, have faith. I am also a very nice, sweet person and most if not all guys do not give me a chance. I know it hurts and does not make one feel good that they are without love in their life at the moment. It will happen. Life has a way even if some have to wait longer for it.

your looking in the wrong places for one, have you tryed just not trying to look. take time for yourself and enjoy life, be the great guy you are and let women around you see that,, the ones that truelly appreciate your personality will find you. dont stress yourself out, trying too hard shows, and its such a turnoff. another thing, what type are these girls that dont get to kno you?? maybe their type is the problem because they cant appreciate your wonderful personality (ps personally i think you sound like prince charming, mostly b/c your so concerned)

i am going to give advice that i am having the hardest time following myself. you have to totally surrender yourself to the idea of being single and that you might forever be single, fill your time with work, friends, a hobbie, etc. just distract yourself with your life and love will find you when you least expect it because you will be distracted and wont be expecting it ever.
