I've said that for a while but now me and my girlfriend [who is my girlfriend and has/had the same feelings and is a virgin] are considering not waiting anymore.
We are both 18, been together for about 1 year and plan to get married after I/we graduate college [she want to go to grad school]
We know what we are going to be together for the rest of our lives so part of us wants to just go ahead and start, but part wants to wait so we don't know yet.

Well yeah I met my "First Love" at the age of 13 and lost it to him when I was 14!!! I know I'm a idiotic person.......but when you think you've found the right person and realize that it's all just a lie....it hurts . Alot. I mean we were both virgins and we didn't know what the **** we were doing when it happened! It seemed right at the time. I don't regret it.....now that we are grown up we still keep in touch and who knows maybe we will get back together later on. I wish though somewhere inside that i could of waited because it would of been real special giving it to the one I loved the most..........but you see I loved him so,......I don't see it as anything wrong.
Like I said, I don't regret it.... but most people do

Don't do it. Think when you do get married, to tell your husband (the LOVE of your life) that you love him so much and you waited for this long to give him something no other man has had.
If you give your virginity away before marriage, they are not committed to you - and have every right to leave.

I wouldnt want to ever loose my virginity. Only because it's so sad to see how my friends are now they lost their virginity. My two best friends lost their virginities, they were 14 and 15. Both regret it more than anything. They were both madly in love with their boyfriends, they were with their boyfriends for a few months so they dicided to have sex with them. But guess what, they broke up and they now dont even talk. My one best friend had sex with her boyfriend and he's like my good friend and we were talking and here's something he told me, "i totally regret doing it with jessica only because it ruins things with other girls, I wish we didnt do it." She was so in love with him and he has the nerv to say this about her and take her virginity. Its a sad thing, and I want to wait until marriage no matter how much i love the guy. If he loves me, he'll wait.

I always knew that I would sleep with my hubby before we would be married. You have to test each other to see if you like it! no good finding out after the wedding day! Cos if he was pretty **** in bed you have him for the rest of your married days! haha I was 18 when I lost mine! And he was a BIG disappointment!didn't marry him! left him and found my husband! been married for 15yrs this year!.

I have thought that and I still do [I'm 20]. If I find the love of my life then that'd mean that I found someone who'd be willing to wait for me.

Virginity is the greatest thing. Cherish it...or throw it away, it's your choice. It isn't something that you give to someone you think you love or you think loves you. Having sex is a purely physical act and rarely means anything to boys/men.
It shouldn't be used or abused as a bargaining tool to get boys or girl friends. You cheapen your virginity and yourself if you think that someone will "love you" if you give them sex.

The love of your life just means they will wait how ever long it will take, it doesn't mean this guy gets my virginity. If he's that great, he will wait and so should you or would you rather lie to yourself?

Yes. I was 16. It was a mistake. But honestly after a while you stop thinking about it and it doesn't really matter unless you obsess about it. Sometimes you just have to take what life gives you and move on.

Yep that was me. I thought I was going to marry her, but ya know... heat of the moment I guess. I was 18. As long as you love the person, than thats ok in my book. That's a lot better than people who wake-up, roll over, and slap themselves on the forehead because their next to a naked gorilla. As long as you feel good about it, than you are ok!!
