yes high protein diets can effect ur skin, if its a sudden diet change that will be why the skin will notice the change and will take some time to adjust, and its the same for the oestrogen tablets, it does effect the skin like any hormone, after a while it should adjust naturally, but if ur worried go see ur doctor so they can put ur mind at ease. also drink loads of water and get ur five fruit and veg everyday if not more, as this will all help ur skin. make ur u moisturise twice daily aswell with something gentle such as

Diet can affect your skin, so it could be the high protein intake, it is more likely to be the hormones tho, as these can have a great affect on the skin. My expertese is skin so i cannot say whether oestrogen is safe tho i believe it to be. You are obviously on the oestrogen for a reason so the only thing you can do is control the effects that it is having on the skin.
There is a very good brand of products called Dermalogica which is developed by the International Dermal Institute. If you go to there website there is a list of suppliers. If you get in contact with them, they should be able to offer you something called 'face mapping' which takes an in depth look at your skin and should also take into account your diet and medication. From this the therapist should be able to prescribe the correct products and or treatments for your skin. Alternatively you should be able to get in contact directly with dermlogica and they may be able to advise you what is best to do.

It depends. Every sufferer of problem skin does so for a different reason. Diet would play a factor in it though, I would have thought carbs and oily foods eg bread and potato chips would be more a cause than protein, i'm not an expert though. You should go seek advice from your doctor as he/she can firstly say what type of spots you have and so give you a cure. Don't bother with all the over the counter products and advice from other people, you could try every last product available and still suffer... and end up broke and stressed. You need to know what type you have and the proper way in which to treat it.
Normally, spots caused by hormones ie the oestrogen you are taking would be around your chin area.
Also flouride toothpaste can cause spots around the mouth and chin.
Good luck with tackling this problem : )

My guess is its the oestrogen. Think about what your skin did at puberty when you had loads of fluctuating oestrogen! And the safety of it always depends on where it came from. Don't take it from a health food shop, go to the doctor!

Hormones definitely play a big part in your skin. Scientist have come to find out that diet does not have any proven connection to your skin and/or acne. I recently had to do a little research on this matter for a patient. ( I work for a dermatologist.) Surges or plunges of estrogen will definitely make your skin act up. If taking an oral contraceptive isn't a choice, there are some great topical or oral medications that can keep your acne under control. See a dermatologist, it isn't embarrassing, and they will be able to give you what you need for your type of acne, and your type of skin.

Animal protein is not easy to digest plus it is full of antibiotics, hormons and poisons. This will show on your skin, make you feel tired, make your breath smell... Ditch meat (incl. fish) and dairy for tofu and soy or rice milk.
Don't be afraid of not getting enough protein - there's loads of protein in oats, broccoli, beans...
