They can "cat call", "whoop", "bark", etc..and at the end of the day, go home.
Flirting allows guys to be aggressive in certain situations without the fear of rejection.

People flirt because they want attention. Getting attention is the only way that certain insecure people (boys or girls) can validate themselves.
Guys tend to view serious relationships as a burden, or a responsibility. It is usually the guy who ends up paying for everything, and doing everything, while the girl just sits back and receives whatever the guy does.

flirting is just a way of nature. If you think its something more then maybe it is. guys are ***** who will try and sleep with anything that will give him a chance. Becareful cause when a gril flirts its different.I guy flirts to get a reaction if its a good reaction the he will go for more, when women flirt guys assume that there is a chance to sleep with you. Its a stupid game. And I hope your not talking about a current boyfriend cause if so your in trouble.......

Probably because it's fun. I'm not a guy but this is probably how they're brain works:
If there's a line of 5 amazingly hot girls standing in front of them, they'd rather get each one of them rather than just stick with one.
They can't keep their pants on - nor their heads!
