I dont know.....That is a really good point.....Thats one of Satans tricks is to divide us all so that we cannot stand...

Many of the Christians are under the belief that there is only 1 correct interpritation of the bible, when there are at least 7 per verse. because of this they get the "I'm right your wrong" complex. this leads to offence. after the offence people tend to choose sides on the issue and try to make the other side back down. eventually one group is either kicked out or breaks off and a new denomination is formed. once this has happened it is rarely undone because those at the top are afraid of loosing their power, some to the point of forbidding their members to attend events at other church functions.
the bride has a long way to go before she is spotless. lots of ego's need to be deflated, traditions and customs removed, and a large scale return to the bible, the whole bible.

Ultimately it comes down to money - the more members you have, the more money you make, which then allows you to spread your version of the Gospel even more.

In this day and age, you need money to do everything - feed homeless, help orphanage, provide scholarships, etc. and so acquiring money has become a high priority, just like other aspects of life.

Humans can't agree upon how a steak should be cooked. You can't really expect unanimity among them on the topic of a non-verifiable supreme being.

Everyone is convinced - or has faith - that they have the answer of how to get to heaven, what is god's will, what is good and bad, etc. Nobody truly lives according the Scriptures.

it has to do with the fact that all of the different forms of christianity and different sects of say protestantism views and interprets things in the bible differently from one another
