Hello,
I'm a psychiatrist and have prescribed Wellbutrin in all its forms to hundreds of people of all ages. The presence of a rash is a known and documented side effect of this and many other medications. Frequently, it is temporary until your body adjusts to the medications. However, if the rash is itchy or is spreading, that most likely indicates an adverse reaction to the drug and you, with your doctor's help, should taper and stop the medication as soon as possible. The rash could also indicate an allergic reaction to the drug, which could endanger your health. Please contact the prescribing doctor ASAP or your local Poison Control number or your pharmacist for further advice. Good luck.
