Aldosterone- a mineralocorticoid which acts on the principal cells of the collecting ducts, ducts of sweat & salivary glands. It activates the gene for sodium- & glucocoticoid regulated kinase- SgK which increases the epithelial sodium channels' (ENaCs) activity.
