Back Acne is common in obese people, but also in people who sweat often. Also, during the summer, wear O N L Y facial sunscreen on your back. The oil-free facial sunscreen. You can also use the products that your dermatologist gives you. Back acne is easy to get rid of. Here are some steps to help you out:
1) Wash your skin
2) Gently exfoliate*see bottom of page
3) Rinse again
4) Apply some acne cream

* Try: -St.Ives Apricot Scrub
-Exfoliating glove from body shop, ulta, walgreens, walmart, THey have them EVERYWHERE.

Good luck, do this for at least 2-3 months and I swear it'll be gone.
Gooddluckk! And remember, Oil Free Facial sunscreen!

Oh yeah- and whenever you sweat, do that 4-step-backne-program that I showed you (above). Do that when you sweat, when you shower, when you play sports, in the summer, before you go to bed, and most importantly, IN THE MORNING.
This may sound weird but we sweat A LOT!! in our sleep.

I do gymnastics, and wearing tight leotards is hell for my skin. I know how you feel.

No matter what anyone says, getting a little sun on your back WILL help. Not only will it cover it up a little, it helps to "dry it up", so to speak. Guarantee it.
Go harsher on your back than you would on your face. For example, my face swells, turns red, and gets itchy when it comes in contact with Benzoyl Peroxide. It's not an allergy, I'm just very sensitive to it. But it works very, very well on my back, with no side effects. So use more Salicylic acid or BP than you would on your face; the tough, thick skin of your back can handle it!

Use a good exfoliator, and make sure you're changing your sheets often. Try to wear clothes only when you have to - take your shirt (and bra, if you're a girl) off if you're at home alone or in your room or something, if possible. Friction is AWFUL for acne.

Hope it clears up for you kiddo.

This condition is probably due to a couple of factors, stress, diet and sweating. I found an excellent product called SpectroGel body wash that is recommended by many dermatologists. I have also included a link for you that has a very good article on body acne. I hope this information is helpful to you.

I have a very good cure, my boyfriend gets those in the summer time from sweating way too much. I spoke to the Clinique rep and you can find this online so that you don't have to go in a store and tell someone you have this prob. But they have a spray for it, and it will spray upside down too. it is called Acne solutions body spray. It works miracles.

Use an anti-bacterial soap (Dial has some) and treat them how you would pimples - try not to mess with them, make sure you shower post work-outs and wear breatheable clothing any chance you get and keep them away from the sun. Good luck!

Did you recently change your shampoo and conditioner? I ask because I started getting a bit of bacne when I started using Pureology products. I will not give up that shampoo but I did get the bacne under control by washing my back AFTER I washed and conditioned my hair. Hope this helps.
