Don't let your weight get you depressed, just see your doctor and handle the problem right away.
If you are only 11 years old, that could be why. You can't go by regular weight charts. Someone around my age (21) might be your height but weigh about 120 pounds, but it will look completely different because they are older and their body is filled out. You still need to grow, so it's important not to eat junk food and try to overload on calories. See a doctor or talk to someone older so that you can plan a healthier diet. You're really not that underweight, especially considering your age. As you get older, you should gain more weight. No worries

I am 5'2 when I was about 18 I was 101 pounds and I HATED my body thought I was way too skinny and tried and tried to gain weight just like you. As I got just one or two years older something happened and all of the sudden I was 120 lbs and then I hated that thought I had gained too much weight. Now that I'm a pregnant 140 lbs I can look back and see both of those previous weights for just fine and I should have been happy with them. Bottom line, as long as your physically healthy try not to stress too much and just be happy with and except who you are because no matter what the situation is there is always going to be room to not be happy with your body.

You are close to a normal weight where you are now. Ideal weight for someone 5' is between 90-110 pounds, but the healthiest weight starts at 103. This is based on the body mass index which can be calculated at:

Just keep eating healthy (don't just eat junk, you need the nutrients from fruits and veggies too). If you feel your weight is dropping dangerously low, you can see a doctor, but some people have high metabolisms and are naturally skinny.

You are a good weight and I don't know how old you are, but if you are under 18 you will gain weight as you get older. Instead of eating junk food eat healthy and join a gym. Start pumping some iron, build muscle to gain weight a personal trainer can also give you some tips.

Oh hun. I believe that you are significantly underweight for this height...I am also 5'1 and I usually weigh between 120-130 pounds and I look athletic. It's not the junk food that will make you gain weight...you need to replenish your body with healthy food in larger portions...i.e. try eating 3-4 meals a day with an emphasis on fruits, veggies, protein source (meat and/or tofu), as well as carbohydrates such as pasta or rice. In combination with that, try working out 2-3 times a week for 30 min. which will allow you to gain muscle tone so your weight gain will not be solely based in fat content. also, consider talking to a doctor who may recommend better strategies to gain weight...in terms of your depressive feelings, I recommend visiting a therapist to discuss why you feel this way about yourself and ways in which you can improve your self-image...this way, you won't still feel miserable even when you gain the weight that you desire...i promise you, if you take these steps, you will eventually gain weight over the few months...good luck!

try to get to 105-110 you'll be a healthy size. Also dont gain weight by eating junk food. Eat healty and take a protein shake when you work out. Do weight training becuase you put on weight but you have a toned body. Muscle weighs more than fat.

for one, you're 11 years old! you're still growing and you shouldnt worry about your weight. eating a ton of junk food to try to gain the weight is not a good idea either..its just unhealthy, and can lead to an unhealthy lifestyle, and when you get older and do start getting to a fuller weight, you wont want to be in this habit. just eat your veggies dude, and of course all the other good stuff, eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full and yes you can have junk food too just dont over-do it trying to gain weight. if you really want to gain weight you can eat more power bars and other nutrition bars that wrestlers eat to move up weight classes.
over all jsut dont worry about it girl, enjoy life and dont let your weight get in the way of it(even if in your case, being underweight is not what ppl usually worry about)

According to doctors charts, 130 is an excellent weight for your height. Keep eating healthy and try building muscle by using 3 and 5 pound weights. This will improve your body and give it defined shape.

I'm 5'1 and I think 105 to 115 is a really good weight. You can't help your body type. Don't stress it. Enjoy that you don't have to worry about losing it!

You should be in between 100-105 lbs. 95 is close enough.
