It depends on the religion. Christianity makes death very simple and peaceful: You plead guilty and receive forgiveness through Christ. The difference between Christianity and every other religion is that other religions are about how you get to God by doing good works, while Christianity is about how God got to you, and He did it in a wonderful way through Jesus Christ.

loss of life is easy; all people can do it. What religions complicate is what they declare happens as quickly as we die. as quickly as you start up making that stuff up, you may desire to make up much extra stuff whilst all people starts off asking logical questions approximately it. this is basically that the easy fact--as quickly as we die, it relatively is it--is likewise a annoying fact. So, religions create mythologies approximately life after dying to maintain us from having to stand the awful actuality. this is form of like Santa Claus: as quickly as the youngsters become older, you may desire to make up further and extra stuff to cover the easy actuality that the whole element is a lie, like, how does Santa trip around the globe in one night? Why are there Santas in each and every mall? etc. same element with faith, do no longer you think of?

Religion, maybe. Christ, no:)
I look forward to being absent from the body and face to face with the Lord, in a place of no more sorrow, no more tears, no more pain, no more death...
Peace out.

Faith in Jesus Christ makes it simple. Follow Him, for He is the light into darkness. If you believe in Him you have nothing to worry about. God be with you.

Not for me, makes it a whole lot easier if you believe you are going to a better place.

Even better if you think you are coming back and will be rewarded for your deeds.
