God is Universal. We humans share HIM. Like a white light, when split through a prism shows different colors. We believe these colors only and not the source. No Christian God, or Muslim God, Or Hindu God. Only one God. Just believe in HIM. Religion can be a path or a route to reach God. Routes cannot become final distinction. You may believe in any of the colors and pray, but when your thoughts and doings are not pure then you will be only on the road just going and going for ever.

I'm fairly certain that the Christian God IS an indifferent God who doesn't care what I think. Why, has God been speaking to you? Because he's been awfully silent in my world.

There is only one God. Almighty God. God loved us so much to give his son as a scriice. This was the fullfilment of phrophecy over the years through various phrophets. You can read or ask theologians about details.
Jesus Christ sacrifised his life for us ( required as God,s justice and righteousness) and before jesus Ascension to heaven promised The Holy Spirit till his second coming to earth. That holy spirit presence is with us and faithful can realise it, feel it and solve all their problem with the presence and belief in holy spirit.

You would know the difference if you knew who GOD is (study the Bible). The other god you mention is the devil, and you're right, he doesn't care what anyone thinks, let alone you.
I have no idea why you people on here feel the need to attack Christianity or any other faith. Why can't people just believe what they believe and leave it at that? Did the "Latter-day saints" come knocking on your door, and it just pissed you off, so instead of attacking them (face to face) for doing what they do, you jump on here and spew your hatred onto innocent bystanders?
Treat others as you would treat yourself.

If that god doesn't care what I think, why is it telling me things?
I know that God speaking through the Holy Spirit is "the Christian God" because the messages and feelings he tells me line up with scripture from the Bible. The Truth.

Jesus told you that a good tree can not produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can not produce good fruit. Jesus tells us how to judge a good tree or a bad tree.
I come in my Father's name and you believe me not, some one else will come in their own name and you will believe them.
Jesus told you about the evils of scripture, Moses, and the prophets.
A prophets that comes only in the name of a prophets will receive a prophet's reward
Jesus proclaimed Isaiah was the greatest prophet, and that John the baptist was Isaiah reincarnated.
Jesus also said, the least in heaven would be greater then John the baptist.
The richman was also least in heaven. Hell is the least in heaven, but it is still heaven, the second heaven.
Jesus said; them who break the least of these commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in heaven
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, means just what it says, Moses worshiped Satan, for a promise of land and wealth just as you do today.
When Jesus told his disciples you must eat my flesh and drink my blood, or else you have no part in me, many of them left.
Today you know that he was talking about the Word of God and his Blood which washed away our sins, but still you feed his sheep, not that bread from heaven.

There is not "Christian god". There's only one God over all of us, call Him what you like. It's still just one God.
