it is impossible for the body to operate at optimum levels of efficiency if it is dehydrated. this is where the water intake plays a role in fat loss and in general health

8 glasses a day is an estimate. To know if you're drinking enough, pay attention when you're in the bathroom. If your pee is clear to very slightly yellow, you're getting enough. If its a darker yellow, you need more.

Its very important to drink plenty of water even when you not trying to lose weight. Water cleanses your system and it takes up space in your stomach so you tend to eat less when you drink plenty of water. SO IT DOES HELP
