I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR MOM. YOU ARE TOO YOUNG TO HAVE A BOYFRIEND. A GIRL YOUR AGE SHOULD STILL BE INTERESTED IN PLAYING WITH DOLLS.
WHAT KIND OF GRADES DO YOU MAKE IN SCHOOL? I WAS
ALWAYS TOLD GROWING UP,"BOOKS AND BOYS DON'T MIX". I THINK YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO THINK ABOUT
BOYS AND ALL THE CRAP YOU DEAL WITH IN HAVING A BOYFRIEND.

I think that 13 is a little young to have a boyfriend. Wait until you're 14 then maybe her mind will change. If it doesn't, you might want to try climbing out the window late a night, if you have a dog i wouldn't suggest it because it'll probobly bark and rat you out. But seriously, wait a while until you and your mother agree on the boyfriend issue.

Show her that your responsible. Generally, 13 is a bit young to have a boyfriend, but if you show your mother that your responsible than she may change her mind.
If you like a boy, offer to have him over to the house for dinner. If all goes well just ask your mom "I really like him, and I was hoping that I could date him." Offer to let her drive you to movies and pick you up.
Generally, if your not kicking and screeming about it and actually coming up with solutions it works better.

You are too young to have a "serious" boyfriend. But an innocent flirtation is all right!!! I just wouldn't tell her about flirting or anything.

If she's a good mom, you won't be able to talk her out of it.
Give yourself a little time. Just because "everybody's doing it" doesn't mean you have to as well.

yeah thats how my mom is and im 14.she said not till im 16 but ive had a couple anyways and she thinks they r just friends. but my brother just one day(hes 12) said something about his gf and my mom didnt kno wat to say lol so she doesnt care now lol
