What's worse is Yahoo! not even bothering to check what gets reported.

I feel bad that the people on Yahoo Answers is a smaller reflection of our society in general. We are now living in a society where people report you for any and every thing. The cops/gov't. officials are like the yahoo moderators who don't ask the right questions before they come in on you, based on someone's report. We need to help our neighbours before we report them, and report them only as a last resort. In Yahoo, we need to allow others the right to their opinions, and only report them as a last resort of obvious abuse.

Yes, I think Yahoo should impose a report limit, like 3 a day or something or suspend serial reporters accounts. They suck the fun out of this site.

We should ask Yahoo!!! If they got rid of that report button, all the people that report won't have any thing to do and leave.

The Report Button is the last resort of someone who's lost all arguments.

Yes. I get reported for all manner of answers. The only common thread I can find is that people who report me disagree with my answer. What a pity!

Almost as bad as the person immature enough to ask a question worth reporting! BTW I report things for being racist or blatantly insulting... not contrary to my beliefs...

Of whom do you speak? I've not encountered that, but then perhaps, just perhaps, it is the tenor and substance of the question/answer which provokes the report button to be used.
I assume you're not including trolls in this equation.
Just my two cents.

yep... for replying "Are you Kidding" I was reported!!
These people are crybabies that should not visit sites like this where people express themselves in a positive or negative way.
