Most beliefs on this planet revolve around beliefs that exist in hinduism. Even though they seem like a polytheistic religion, they have a monotheistic GOD that is the creater. That is brahman. He could be seen as a personal lord, a father, etc. He is the GOD of the 2 main diety heads in hinduism. Vishnu and shiva. Brahman is the GOD that was never created. And accepted or not, all hindu prophecies are true. Because they have all happened. For example, there is hare krishna. An avatar of vishnu. Even buddha is an avatar of vishnu. There is one more to come. And regardless of whom or what, no one can stop it. That is kalki. He will destroy the earth with the wrath of nature. And at the rate that the world is moving, we are doing nothing but preparing for him. Imagine a world devestation with things like katrina and tsunamis of indonesia. Kalki is an avatar of vishnu. His prophecy states that he will decend on earth when the last of the devotees is no more. I am islamic and to my accpetance, that was the prophet muhammad(pbuh). Remeber, there is still the monotheistic GOD. His name is destroyer, filth, foulness, destroyer of filth, etc. The book of revelations warns of the one on a pale white horse. His avatar has him riding a white horse brandishing a comet like sword. But he is actually very righteous. He is already here if anyone wants to believe in him. If you walk by a homeless man, that is kalki. He is watching and learning. But I am sure that is a little too much for people to swallow. This coming from a muslim.

But hinduism is basically a respect for life. I don't know about the whole pagan side, worshipping rats, cows being holy, etc. I believe in karma, due recompse, islam, and allah. I am half chinese so maybe that is the main reason I care about things like this.

PEACE!
