when I went next door to thank her, she asked if I was "interested in coming over to have dinner and watch a DVD sometime." I'm 27 years old.
Is this weird to anyone, or is she just being neighborly and I shouldn't think more about it?

choosing valentines day in particular makes me think she might have her eye on your candies, if you know what i mean

Take the Blinders off man...She wants you. Nothing wrong with older women and 40's isn't that old. She probably isn't thinking of marrying you so if your interested (many 40 somethings are hotter than alot of 20 somethings). Give it a go and if the age freaks you out and she's hot and in my area...Send her over.

Umm Run! she is totally hiting on u and dinner and a dvd translates into "lets have sex" if you arent interested you need to let her know... sont accept anything from her or she will think you like her too

I would stay away. She must not have anyone her own age. What you could do is call her and ask her if she minds if you bring your GF over. If she says no, then get a GF fast and be very loving with her while you are at the neighbors house. Make it known that you don't want anything to do with her, in a romatic way, that is.
