I study psychology and I read once that if You've loved once, you will love again. But if you never love, then you might never love at all. It refers to people with severe mental disorders that cant comprehend love or understand what it feels like. Its beyond comprehension. I think it definitly is a part of growing up. I remember telling my boyfriends when I was 10 how much I loved them, and we'd break up the next day, and I'd be fine. I didnt really feel the pain and wonderment of love till I was about 15. Hope this helps.

No, not necessarily (unless your talking about loving family). They could be part of it but plenty of people have had healthy development without romantic relationships.

when i date someone, i look at him as a potential husband. if i cant see myself getting married to that person then i wont date him. i dont want to go into a relationship knowing that we will break up.
