Good point.

Forced responsibility and then punishment for failing. Wonderful loving God who allows children to be born to teenage crackheads and placed ever so lovingly in dumpsters.

Because everyone is born for a reason. Maybe you need to maditate and listen to your heart to find out what your reason is. Good Luck. By the way, I hope you can notice and appreciate the world around you. I know that the world we live in is harsh and cruel but if you look at the bright side every summer follows a winter and every tree that dies is reborn again with health and strength; therefore, don't let the downs of the life around you ruin your true meaning of being born. Sometimes, a person may be born just to help another and that's all. I truly hope that you find your reason.

You don't. Unless you have actually been to a place proven to be known as "Heaven", then as far as you or anyone else who hasn't actually been to such a place can only assume that "Heaven" is a real "place", or you can assume that it is simply a concept that people like to believe in so that they won't be so heartbroken when their loved ones die - so they think that one day they will be re-united with them. Or so that they personally won't be so afraid to die.

You die, your body stays here and is buried, cremaed or rots, and your soul either goes elsewhere, probably wherever it was gonna go regardless of how hard you work or not, or it withers away when you die. That's my best guess, for what it's worth, if anything.

In my opinion, many people interpret the word Heaven to mean: “the abode of God, the angels, and the spirits of the righteous after death; the place or state of existence of the blessed after the mortal life.” Actually, Heaven can also mean: “a place or state of supreme happiness.” Everyone whats to be happy right?

Your problem is that you think you have to work to get to heaven.

The old works program operation.
It's faith not works.

Gal 2:16 nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no flesh be justified.
OLAY!

Who said you had to work to get into heaven. Who said there was a heaven.

You don;t have to work to get to heaven, you could sit back and do nothing and go to hell! It's your choice up or down.

There is no work invovled in getting to heaven. In fact, you could never do enough work to get to heaven.

Simply believe in Jesus, accept his death as the sacrifice payment for your sins - and that's it - no work involved.

Sin defined... now that is a good question. I'll post it and see what everyone thinks. But I sum up sin as putting yourself ahead of God.

Who said you had to work to get to Heaven?? You can never earn your way there, so don't even start down that road. The only way in is to accept the free gift of Jesus Christ. Allow Him to come into your life and help you make your choices. That is the only way in. Work is a religious notion, not God's.

Yeah, like this clown above me who calls himself a Jesus follower, telling people to kill themselves. If we go to hell when we die, am I already dead? Cause it sucks where I am now with all these "so-called" religious freaks telling me that their god is better than the other guys god. None of 'em have a clue. I'm sure, if there is a god, he, she, it's sitting somewhere having a great laugh at all these clowns.

Do you want to go to heaven? I don't. Especially with all the Bible-thumpers in it.
