He didn't need men, He chose to use them. Our God is a relevant God. For Him to use people to write His books, it shows His power. And it shows, He can and will use anyone if they are willing to be used.

Perhaps because just as God may be in conflict by our creation so should we then also. To empathize with God or feel guilt from our actions or to have and develop conscience brings us closer to God by emulating his thoughts into writing is evolving logic and wisdom from a sense of an immortal or all knowing presence or higher force in life. Our own instincts sense something supernatural whether it's real or imagined and cannot be denied regardless of it's true sources. I think therefor I Am. In a way just as we evolve so does God thru us as in giving God his own roots or a beginning. Sometimes we both forget and then remember what it once was to be new and young. It's interesting how the God like father has evolved from the old testament to the new one as it seems we have also. We all seem to learn the hard way thru truth and lies and faith in the supernatural.

It is obvious to all reasonably intelligent people that if there was a god he would write his 'guide book' himself so that it was clear to all who read it. If you start with a baseless conclusion as a given (in this case, that there is a god) instead of starting with an open mind and following a path of evidence and reason to the logical and correct conclusion, in order to keep your erroneous conclusion alive, you must come up with ever increasingly ridiculous explanations for the contradictions between your position and evolving knowledge and enlightenment.

All good managers delegate authority.
Besides, why create people in the first place if God was going to do everything himself?
Most people might be a little intimidated if God was always booming out of the sky at them anyway. It is easier to use people to talk to other people.

He wrote the original 10 commandments with his finger.
It's a shame Moses broke them and then carved a new set himself.
The only 2 things God ever wrote
the broken 10 commandments and some stuff in the sand. Both have no evidence of ever being written.

I think it has to do with having witnesses of God. I mean would anyone really take seriously a book that says "I'm God, I'm real, listen to me."
Or would they be more inclined to take seriously a bunch of different people who were witnesses of God who were describing Him in the same way?
Kind of like a court of law situation, would you believe the person saying "hey, I'm innocent." or all the witnesses who can verify that they're innocent.?

Laziness?
I mean, this is a deity that expects his followers to offer people nothing in exchange for worshipping him.
If I was a deity, especially one who could be everywhere all the time, I would be interactive- I'd be on TV, on the radio, and everyone would see or hear me and go "hey, that's god" because I would just make them believe in me.

I think a few religions claim that he did. I might be mistaken, but I think Joe Smith claims to have been given the book of mormon directly from God.
Actually...if my Hebrew school memories are right...I think we believe that our Torah and commandments were given to us directly by God.
I might be wrong....I'm not very good at this. I'm stronger on theological theory then the actual theology.

Contrary to what Bible Thumpers Believe, God can't write because he's not real. All the Bible is, is a collection of myths, oral traditions, and basic guidelines to live a decent life...to bad there followers don't practice what they preach.
