For my birthday my friend from work brought me brownies and then went to happy hour with myself and a few other coworkers. I had quite a bit to drink and she ended up driving me home. When she pulled up to my place I thanked her for everything and extended my hand for a shake. She then said, you don't shake your female friends hands you hug them. So I gave her a hug. The only reason I didn't hug her is because she says she is seeing a guy, and i respect that. However since she insisted on me hugging her, do you think she may like me more than a friend?

Could be..but there has to be some other clues. Since she baked you brownies and went out with you then there could be a possibility. Do you like her? Girls like to hug people. I hug all of my guy friends...but a quick hug. Nothing too long because that would be wierd. So, pay attention to how she acts when she's around you. Is she flirtatous? Does she try to touch you a lot? What looks is she giving you? Is she attracted to you?

It's possible. I wouldn't ask a guy I wasn't into to hug me. If she is, steer clear, you don't want to start drama with her guy.

yea, she likes you, but you did the right thing. you sound like a decent guy. id watch out for her, if she starts hitting on you when she has a boyfriend she'd prolly do the same thing to you if you were her boyfriend.
