When starting a new business always begin the name with an "A". When people are looking through the yellow pages to order flowers, your business will be one of the first ones they see. Always Blooming, for example.

You need to draw up a business plan. What do you want to accomplish, that sort of thing. It gives you direction. Your name should reflect what you do or at least give a hint. Does "Amore" sound like you do floral arrangements? Maybe more along the lines of Amore Floral Designs. Have some business cards made. Vista Print (dot com) is AWESOME. Start going to bridal shops, bakeries, caterers & leave some cards there. Place them on bulletin boards in places that women frequent. And always carry cards with you. I've met people at the library or when they're shopping for wedding supplies.

Usually you choose a name that reflects your business, personality, & what you do. Are you doing all floral arrangements, just weddings, silk only?

The florist I ended up using has a great name... she in NJ so maybe you can use it if your in a different area

A lot of couples (mostly the women) want a fairy-tale wedding ... so why not something like Fairy Tale Florals ... that way you can put your own modern spin on a fairy tale theme. Good luck!!
